General Information:


The complete set of instruments can solve all the faults of power cables below 35kV. The complete set is composed of four units:
 
1.Fault location unit: cable fault location host + multiple pulse controller
The color LCD touch screen is adopted, which is simple to operate and easy to read the waveform. At the same time, the ranging system can automatically locate the distance of the fault point, and the fault location is simple and easy.
 
2.Tracking and identification unit: fully digital multi-function cable detector
The path search adopts all-digital electromagnetic induction technology, which can easily solve the running or non-operating cable direction and identification problems, especially the problem of metal dead ground fault that could not be solved in the past.
 
3.Fault fixed-point unit: intelligent locator
The precision locator equipped with the system has sound and magnetic waveform display, strength indicator; it can prompt the distance and path of the fault and many other functions.
 
4.High-voltage signal unit: ultra-light high-frequency and high-voltage signal generator
It is the energy supply part for pre-positioning and precise positioning of the cable fault, and provides high-voltage and high-energy voltage pulses for the cable. It has the advantages of simple wiring, small size, light weight, and convenient movement.

  1. Without high-voltage equipment, it can test any cable short circuit, disconnection fault distance, cable length and wave speed.

  • Functions and features:
  1. There are three test methods: direct connection method, coupling method and induction method. The coupling method can detect the path of running cables; the induction method can blindly detect the path of underground cables.
  2. Intelligent, digitized, and multi-frequency technical advantages enable it to identify cables, especially its live cable identification function.
  3. It is simple and convenient to test the open circuit fault and short-circuit fault of the cable. For example, the street lamp cable fault test has an area judgment function. The test process does not require mains power supply, no load removal, no high voltage application, and no waveform analysis.
  4. There are five detection frequencies-low frequency, intermediate frequency, high frequency, radio frequency, 50Hz. Because of the multiple frequencies, the test under various conditions can be easily realized.
  5. The unique induction testing method is especially suitable for "blind testing" of metallic pipelines such as underground cables, optical cables, and water pipes.
  6. Cable buried depth measurement is one-key direct reading; built-in ohmmeter can measure loop resistance and judge the nature of the fault.
